4 Steps to Safe Sharps Disposal

Before use, ensure every sharps container is clearly labeled with your facility’s name and contact information. Place containers in the "point of use" area (e.g., countertops or wall-mounted units in patient rooms) to ensure immediate disposal after a procedure.
