2. What is the standard turnaround time for a new service or extra pickup request?

We typically require 24 to 48 hours' notice for scheduled service adjustments or roll-off dumpster hauls. This ensures we can route a local driver to your facility promptly while maintaining our high standard of compliance and safety.

3. Do I need to buy my own sharps containers, or does HMWS provide them?

We offer a one-for-one exchange program. We provide high-quality, puncture-resistant sharps containers designed to protect clinicians. On your scheduled service day, we swap your full containers for sanitized, ready-to-use units, eliminating the need for you to manage separate inventory.

4. Can HMWS handle one-time large-volume document purges, or is it only for recurring clients?

HMWS offers both. Our One-Time Purge Service is perfect for end-of-year file cleanouts, office relocations, or clearing storage units. For ongoing needs, we also provide recurring scheduled shredding with secure locked consoles placed in your office. Every service includes a Certificate of Destruction.

5. Does HMWS provide wall mounts or brackets for sharps containers?

Yes, we offer a variety of mounting solutions (including wall brackets and floor stands) to ensure containers are placed at the "point of use," which is a key OSHA safety recommendation to prevent injuries between the procedure and disposal.

6. We are a small clinic; do we have to sign a long-term restrictive contract?

7. What roll-off dumpster sizes are available for facility renovations?

We offer two primary sizes to accommodate different project scales:

40-Yard Dumpster: (approx. 23'1" L x 8'3" W x 7'9" H) – Designed for large-scale facility purges or major structural debris.

8. How should we dispose of expired or unused non-controlled medications?

Noncontrolled pharmaceutical waste should be placed in designated white or blue containers labeled for "Incineration Only." Never flush these or place them in red biohazard bags, as they require different treatment to prevent environmental contamination.

9. Can HMWS deliver a roll-off dumpster to a residential address?

Yes. HMWS serves both residential and commercial customers for dumpster rentals. Whether you're clearing out an estate, renovating your home, or managing a farm cleanup, we can deliver to your location in our service area. Our standard rental term is 14 days, with flexible options available.
